Awesome guide. Got my supply up and running in no time. Could have bought one second hand for approx the cost of the components but would have still had to disassemble it to fix the latent problem with the glue. After replacing the parts the +5VSB rail was fine but the PSU would not power up. Traced this fault to 3x 1N4148 diodes around the UC3845B being short circuit. Relaced these and back in business.
